sproutgirlI'm in a good mood, and since I mostly post PWGI stuff and my grouchies, I thought I'd share.
It all started 4 days ago when my parents came to visit. I love when they come. Mom and I watched Love Actually, which she hadn't seen, and she loved it. Made me burn her the soundtrack for it, too.
Then one night at work, my boss singled me out to ask why I didn't apply for the Reach Program. It's this management program they have at work, that's really intense. It has a 70% promotion rate for those who graduate. I was interested, but you have to work there for a year, and I've just completed my 90 Day Probation. He didn't realize that, and really wanted to see me in. Which was nice. Made me realize that he knew I was doing a good job, and that he wants me to succeed.
Yesterday I got the Snitch antenna ball from e-bay, along with my first birthday presents! Thanks Gidge! I got Quidditch Goggles, a Hermione mug, and a Ron mug. I got Ron for my birthday!
Then my mom took me shopping before they had to leave for the airport. She got me lots of work blouses and T-shirts for my birthday. Love my mom.
Then tonight I was called and told that they didn't need me to supervise tonight, and that I would be dealing. Yay! Not only is it a nice break, but on a Friday, the tips usually turn out to be a little better than the Floor Pay I would have gotten.
I also get too deal tomorrow, and then I have Sunday off. G and I are going to celebrate my birthday on Sunday, and he starts his new job on Monday.
Life is good. The only thing that would make it better is if the PWGI all came out to Vegas and crasshed at my place. Or I could go there. But I'll save my money and get there someday. And home to see my niece. And to TWH. So, yeah. Life is still good.
